

Mama Bakes has been making this delicious Christmas Cake recipe for as long as I can remember. It took some arm twisting but we finally managed to convince her to share the recipe with us. Unlike most fruitcakes we can guarantee you will love this one - this cake is actually a Cypriot recipe packed full of glyka (fruit preserves) as well as booze meaning it's super moist and contains many wonderful surprising and rich flavours.
Our traditional design features a Christmas reef handmade out of fondant. The cake is covered the way it should be - with apricot glaze, marzipan and fondant icing.
